Today, the Alberta Party announces the full-time hiring of Troy Wason as Executive Director.

President of the Alberta Party, Conrad Guay made the announcement:

“I am thrilled to announce the appointment of Troy Wason as the permanent full time Executive Director for the Alberta Party. The Board had a field of excellent candidates to choose from, but Troy brings organizational and strategic knowledge, leadership, and experience putting the Alberta Party in an incredibly strong position to move forward.

“This year will see us elect a new leader in the fall, and having Troy to help us navigate the process will ensure a competitive, exciting, and fair race.”

Troy has over 35 years of political and organizing experience in Alberta, and has just completed a three month contract as the Interim Executive Director for the Alberta Party. During his contract, he was working closely with the provincial board establishing priorities and building the party from within.
