Given today’s news of a November 8 by-election in Leader Barry Morishita’s constituency of Brooks-Medicine Hat, the Board of Directors’ Executive Committee has decided to POSTPONE the Annual General Meeting and Policy Conference that was scheduled for October 15-16 in Edmonton. 

Efforts and resources will be concentrated in Brooks-Medicine Hat so Barry can focus on meeting voters on their doorsteps. We have invited everyone who RSVP’d to the AGM to spend the weekend door-knocking with Barry in Medicine Hat. If you would like to volunteer in Brooks-Medicine Hat over the course of the campaign, please email [email protected]. 

Further details on the rescheduled AGM will be announced once arrangements are finalized. Registration fees already paid will either be applied to the rescheduled AGM, but please email [email protected] if you would like a refund OR the fees donated to Barry’s campaign. We appreciate your patience and flexibility given this schedule change, and we look forward to when we can all gather to celebrate after Barry has won a seat in the Legislature on November 8th.
