Stephanie was born, raised and educated in Alberta.  She is a proud parent of two school aged children and has 20+ years of experience in the field of Privacy Compliance.  Stephanie is a Senior Information & Privacy Manager with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC) of Alberta and is also the President & CEO of Prism Consulting Services Ltd, who focuses on diversity, inclusion, stakeholder collaboration and engagement with a focus on the LGBTQ+ community.

Stephanie was also the Privacy Manager at Alberta Health for almost 10 years.  Prior to that also served in various capacities on the Senior and Regional Management Teams of a couple of former Regional Health Authorities (before to the formation of Alberta Health Services (AHS)). Stephanie also work in Emergency Health Services and was one of the first three public members appointed to the former Alberta Ambulance Advisory and Appeal Board.

Stephanie is a Transgender Advocate who also serves as a Director/Board Member on the Trans Equality Society of Alberta (TESA), who has a mandate to be a witness to and a voice for matters concerning Trans Albertans.  In addition to this, Stephanie is a member to the You Can Play: Western Canada Board; a member of the Canadian Federal LGBTQi2S Sports Inclusion Taskforce; was the former President, Volleyball Alberta Officials and is a current Volleyball Canada certified National Referee.
