Le Parti Albertain reconnaît l’importance historique et actuelle de notre communauté francophone en Alberta. En voyageant dans notre province, on se rappelle toujours les villes qui portent des noms français et qui continuent de s'ancrer profondément dans la francophonie du Canada. Que ce soit Lac la Nonne, Lac la Biche, Grande Prairie, Bonnyville, Beaumont, Legal, Lacombe, Brosseau, Morinville ou St. Albert, nous nous souvenons chaque jour que la communauté francophone est un fondement essentiel de la culture Albertaine. |

Le Parti Albertain respecte les droits constitutionnels énoncés par l'article 23 de la Charte canadienne des droits et libertés. Un gouvernement dirigé par le Parti Albertainreconnaîtra l’importance de ces droits et s’engagera de collaborer avec la communauté franco-albertaine pour soutenir son rôle indispensable au sein de notre province. Le Parti Albertain reconnaît également que la communauté francophone de notre province s'est étendue considérablement au cours de la dernière décennie, et que de nombreux nouveaux résidents parviennent de la francophonie mondiale. Un gouvernement dirigé par le Parti Albertain améliorera les services d'immigration en français afin de mieux aider cette communauté grandissante à s'établir et à s'intégrer dans notre province. L'élaboration d'un plan d'action envers cela se ferait en consultation avec la communauté francophone. |

The Alberta Party recognizes the historic and current importance of our francophone community in Alberta. While traveling in our province, we are always reminded of cities and towns that bear French names and continue to be deeply rooted in Canada’swider francophone community. Whether it be Lac la Nonne, Lac la Biche, Grande Prairie, Bonnyville, Beaumont, Legal, Lacombe, Brosseau, Morinville or St.Albert, we are reminded daily that our francophone community is a keystone of Alberta’s culturalmosaic. |

The Alberta Party respects the constitutional rights set out in section 23 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. A government led by the Alberta Party will recognize the significance of these rights and will commit to working with the Franco-Albertan community to enhance their vital role in our province. The Alberta Party also recognizes that our province's francophone community has grown significantly over the past decade, with many new residents coming from the nations of La Francophonie. An Alberta Party government would enhance existing immigration services in French to better assist this growing community establish and integrate themselves into our province. Developing an associated action plan would be done in consultation with our francophone community. Alberta's future is before us. Let us have the courage to hold hands and proceed together in meeting the challenges of the next decades. |
