Post-secondary Education, Skills and Talent
July 31, 2020 • 7:30pm - 8:30pm
Zoom call
Hosted by Conrad Guay
Join us to talk about policy options for Alberta. Connect with us and other Alberta Party members to discuss the details of pragmatic, reasonable policy options for our province. This session will be hosted by Alberta Party President Conrad Guay and will ask where should the government be spending its funding for post-secondary education? What is the right balance between universities, colleges, trades and other forms of education? What bearing, if any, does employability have?
This one hour Zoom call will start with an overview of the different aspects of the debate on post-secondary education, skills and talent. Then we will move into a discussion about whether the policies would be a good fit for Alberta. This is a chance to have your voice heard and to engage with other Albertans interested in policy. Whether you are experienced at discussing policy, or are new to the policy realm and are curious to listen to the conversation, we would love for you to tune in.
We want to hear your take on these policies. We want to hear what you think would make the best policies for Alberta based on your life experience and expertise.
