Kerry knows Alberta.
Kerry Cundal and her husband, Dr. Cory Cundal, live in Marda Loop, in the heart of Calgary-Elbow. They have lived in Calgary for over 18 years. They have two adult children, and two dogs.
From Grande Prairie to Edmonton, from Red Deer to Calgary, Kerry has been serving Albertans as a teacher and immigration lawyer. She served on the Immigration and Refugee Board, and she ran as a federal candidate in Calgary-Signal Hill in 2015. Prior to this she owned a real estate investment business for 10 years.
Recently, Kerry has been serving as Director of Parliamentary Affairs for the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship.
As a strong champion of human rights values, Kerry has volunteered with Calgary Reads, Calgary Immigrant Women's Association, Calgary Workers' Resource Centre, and Alberta Together. She was also a co-founder of Ask Her, a non-profit organization with a goal to see more women run for Calgary city council.
Kerry is running for MLA in Calgary-Elbow to ensure there is a strong voice in the next election that combines fiscal responsibility with needed social supports and strong human rights values.
