Daryl Marler
Shadow Minister - Economic Diversification

Daryl Marler is a born and raised Alberta boy. He grew up on a mixed farm east of Edmonton in Strathcona County and presently resides west of Elk Island Park in a log home he built himself. Raising a herd of cattle and running a small business occupy his time. He has been self employed in various forms of business all his working life. An Ardrossan High School grad, he was captain of the volleyball and basketball teams. He has volunteered on parent school boards and the Alberta Appaloosa Horse Association and enjoys playing ice hockey and traveling to various tournaments worldwide. Daryl's experiences in agriculture and industry equip him for bringing life lessons and practical solutions to the table. He sees Alberta as a world leader in innovation, technology, agriculture, oil, and tourism. Volunteering for the Alberta Party allows Daryl to help showcase Alberta's 'can make it happen' approach. Daryl is looking forward to letting the rest of the world in on what a great place Alberta is to work, live, and thrive.
