Amy Shantz's Profile
Shadow Cabinet Coordinator
Amy spent most of her childhood and early adult years in the lower mainland of BC where she made her first visit to a constituency office of a political representative, did her first sign wave for a political candidate, and then helped a successful federal campaign. She moved to Calgary 13 years ago.
Being an experiential learner, Amy has put herself in all sorts of uncomfortable, challenging, and adventurous situations in order to learn, grow, and change. Whether through her continuous education, allied health career, religious/spiritual journey, or through volunteer ventures and activities with political parties and campaigns she jumps in to develop herself, contribute to the growth and impact of others, build community, and drive change.
Amy believes that all people are valuable and have important knowledge, skills, and perspectives that provide insights. She loves strategizing and helping people become mobilized in a complimentary way to make a great difference. She loves contributing to work done by the shadow cabinet group led by Jacquie Fenske who shows care, appreciation and trust. Our team would love to hear from you, welcome you as a volunteer, and help elevate your ideas and passions to push for a large and positive impact on our Alberta.
