Acting Leader Appointed - Welcome Jacquie Fenske

Today the Alberta Party announces our new Acting Leader, Jacquie Fenske.

President of the Alberta Party, Conrad Guay made the announcement:

“I’m so excited Jacquie has stepped up to help grow the Alberta Party. Her natural energy, experience, and hard work is exactly what the Party, and this province, needs right now.

We wanted to make sure the person chosen didn’t just represent the Alberta Party, but all Albertans.”

Jacquie taught junior and senior high school for over a decade, served as a Strathcona County Councillor for over 13 years, and was the MLA for Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville. With her family, she is an active manager of Fifendekel Pie Shops Cafes in Edmonton.

Jacquie Fenske, Acting Leader of the Alberta Party:

“I’m excited to be leading the Alberta Party and helping the Party grow. Almost ten percent of Albertans, 172,000, voted for the Alberta Party in the last election, and I’m here to represent them and their interests.”

Jacquie is a relentless community advocate and knows exactly what the province needs:

Hope for a future economy that doesn’t rely on just one pipeline being built.

Hope for an Alberta that is prosperous for our children and grandchildren.

Hope that our communities will thrive as essential elements in the lives of our citizens.

Hope that together we can make Alberta work.

The UCP are selling Albertans a myth that one more pipeline will bring prosperity to Alberta for generations to come.

The NDP sells the myth that more government spending and debt will do the same.

There is a better way. We need to think about the day after the pipeline is built. We need to provide hope for those struggling today.

Jacquie, like the 172,000 other Albertans who cast their ballot for hope instead of fear, believes that the Alberta Party is the way to build a better future for all Albertans.

More than anything, she knows that Albertans are among the hardest working people on the planet, and she is ready to get to work building our Party.

There will be a media availability today at Holiday Inn on 170th St in Edmonton (11330 170 St NW) from 3 pm to 7 pm. She is available for in-person media in Calgary on Wednesday, February 12th.
