Jodi Miller's Profile
Jodi is a born and raised Calgarian, educated at the University of Calgary with a BA in Political Science, a Certificate in Professional Management and a PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
Jodi started her career by becoming a Licensed Investment Advisor across the Canadian & American markets with Nesbitt Burns. After transitioning to a 15-year career in Calgary’s oil & gas industry working in business development, her career path now takes her to to Consulting on Business Development and Strategic Thinking for forward thinking companies
She has been an active participant in politics since 1984, beginning with her very first election onto Student Council in junior high. In 1990, Jodi joined the Young Liberals at the University of Calgary and has been a member of the Liberal Party of Canada ever since. She has worked on the core teams on numerous campaigns at the federal, provincial and municipal levels.
Jodi has sat on the Calgary-Buffalo Constituency Association's Board (MLA Kent Hehr) for 6 years and was the Secretary for 2 of those years. She currently sits (4 years) on the Calgary-Centre EDA's Board (MP Kent Hehr), is the former President of the Alberta Party Calgary-Elbow Constituency Association (MLA Greg Clark) and acts as the Corporate Secretary for the Alberta Party Provincial Board.
Jodi believes that Alberta needs further change at the government level and she is committed to helping the Alberta Party be that change. We can make this happen, it’s time.
