The Calgary-Elbow Constituency Association has also opened its nominations, with the nomination date being May 29, 2022

MEDICINE HAT TRADESHOW

The Brooks-Medicine Hat and Cypress-Medicine Hat CAs participated in the 2022 Southeast Alberta Home & Leisure Trade Show at the Cypress Centre in Medicine Hat. The show ran from Friday, April 22 to Sunday, April 24 and thousands of attendees were at the show. Alberta Party leader, Barry Morishita and volunteers from both CAs talked with lots of interested showgoers.

“The message was very clear in Medicine Hat: Albertans are looking for real change in government. These conversations with Barry gave many the confidence that he is the leader, and this is the party, to drive that change for Alberta!” —Justin Jones, Cypress-Medicine Hat volunteer, and Alberta Party Member

INTERVIEW WITH BARRY

Barry recorded a two-part interview on the Forgotten Corner Podcast this month.  Barry discusses his views on several topics, including the upcoming general election, and takes questions solicited from listeners.  It is well worth the listen, and a great opportunity to share with people you may know who are curious about the Alberta Party.

Like Barry says, 'If I had the opportunity to meet the two and a half million Albertans that potentially are going to vote next time, I think the Alberta Party would win the election'.

MESSAGE FROM OUR PROVINCIAL VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

Volunteer — from Latin voluntarius "of one's free will"

Democracy is about the freedom to choose.

Choosing to spend your time volunteering and supporting causes you believe in are the building blocks of our society. The Alberta Party is made up of volunteers giving their time, talent, and treasure in service of something we all believe in.

We believe our government can be better. It can make better choices, conduct debates with a more civilized tone, and do a better job of listening to its citizens.

We are rebuilding our volunteer base and are currently looking for people who believe in what the Alberta Party stands for and where their values will find a home for the long-term.

With the help of you — our volunteers — we will field a team of competitive candidates. We want people who continually live their values and do the work required to see the Alberta Party form government.

VOLUNTEER CALL: to get the job done, we need all kinds of volunteers to do all types of work to ensure the Party’s success. We are creating a network of Regional Coordinators to support the development of healthy constituency associations. We also need many volunteers to help establish and grow their local constituency associations.

Let's build a better Alberta. Volunteer today.

Please contact me to find out how and where to get involved.

Thank you,

Jeff
