Today is a milestone

What a journey. What a team. What a start.

Last night we took a big step forward on the road to giving Albertans a new pragmatic, progressive government with forward-looking policies. We connected with people in a way that proved we can compete head to head with the PCs in Alberta.

Am I disappointed we didn’t win? Of course; we set out to send an Alberta Party MLA to the Legislature.

But in politics, in business and in life if you’re not moving forward you’re moving backwards. Last night’s results send a clear message that the Alberta Party is growing rapidly and has the momentum going into the next general election.

The Alberta Party attracted the most diverse, energetic, capable, compassionate and hard-working team I have ever been a part of. We had well over 300 people help out on this campaign, and we’ve created a remarkable movement.

I am proud to have worked with you. We are just getting started. There is definitely a generational change happening in Alberta politics and the Alberta Party is leading the charge.

Albertans are builders. We’re not interested in tearing each other down. Hope trumps fear every time. Diversity trumps the same-old, same-old, and ideas are better than ideology. And the Alberta Party has better ideas, more diversity and great hope for the future of Alberta.

Thank you to the incredible volunteer team. You have made a great contribution to me, to the Alberta Party and to our province. We’ve started something special and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Let’s keep building!

Your support was key to our success last night. Be part of our success tomorrow as we start towards the next general election. Become a member of the Alberta Party and help us build what we started here in Calgary-Elbow all across the province. You can join the Alberta Party here:
