Kurtis lives in a self-built net-zero home to the north of Stony Plain. He is motivated by his studies in Social Justice, Global Affairs, and Ecological Economics while endeavouring to bring theory to practice in the real world through participation in not-for-profit activities and as a partner in a small Permaculture Design company. Employed as a Telecommunications Tower Technician, he enjoys traveling across the Province, talking with fellow citizens, always questing for a more integral vision of the future of Alberta's human and natural systems.
