Charter of Rights and Freedoms 35th Anniversary Celebration - Calgary-BuffaloCalgary, AB, Canada · April 17, 2017 at 5pm - 7:30pm
The Canadian legal landscape changed forever on April 17, 1982 with the introduction of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The Charter has ensured Canadians fundamental freedoms, legal rights, and freedom from discrimination.
The Charter has been an essential foundation to support the the thriving, multicultural, tolerant society that Canada is today. We need strong voices in our legislature to promote a free society that is inclusive, welcoming, and celebrates our diversity.
Please join Alberta Party leader Greg Clark, Calgary-Buffalo candidate Omar Masood and all your favourite centrists for drinks and appetizers to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of the Charter.
P.S. - Can’t make the event? Consider donating a ticket for a deserving volunteer/student!
