An Evening with Todd Hirsch - Does a Sales Tax make sense for Alberta?

Calgary, AB, Canada · May 03, 2016 at 5pm - 7:30pm

The Calgary-Buffalo Constituency Association of the Alberta Party invites you to discuss the merits of a Sales Tax for Alberta. The idea of a sales tax is controversial.  Even our Calgary-Buffalo CA board has not reached consensus on this topic, but it does deserve a meaningful discussion among Albertans.

We are pleased to welcome Todd Hirsch, ATB Financial's Chief Economist, to give his perspective on what a Sales Tax would mean for Alberta from a technical perspective.

Whether you are going to the Alberta Party policy convention on May 28 or just want to hear more about options that we have in Alberta, we hope you will join us.

Ticket prices include two drink tickets and appetizers. Registration and networking will start at 5pm. Todd Hirsch will speak at 6pm.
