Calgary Networking Event with Greg Clark

Calgary, AB, Canada · January 22, 2016 at 5pm - 7:30pm

Topic: The Impact of Alberta’s Climate Change Plan and How it Can be Made Better by the Alberta Party Proposal

The Calgary-Buffalo Constituency Association of the Alberta Party invites you to meet other people and discuss the current state of the economy, politics, and your ideas for how to move our province's economy forward. We love hosting these events because you get to meet new people while sharing YOUR ideas!

With oil prices currently under pressure, the conclusion of the Paris Climate Conference, and the NDP’s planned carbon pricing approach, there are, indeed, several challenges the Alberta economy faces going into 2016.

Our special guest, Greg Clark, Leader of the Alberta Party and MLA for Calgary-Elbow will be giving a talk from his unique perspective as both a former business leader in this economy and as a current legislator about the impacts of the changes the Alberta NDP government is bringing in and an alternative proposal for how it can be done better. As always, we welcome full participation from our guests and encourage you to ask all the questions you have.

Ticket prices include two drink tickets and appetizers. Registration and networking will start at 5pm. Greg Clark will speak at 6pm.
