Alberta Party statement on Alberta Together
Posted on July 24, 2017 by Robbie Kreger-Smith
We have recently received questions about Alberta Together.
From their website;
Alberta Together strives to shape and support a strong, positive and inclusive centrist political voice in our province that will be ready for the 2019 election. It is a not-for-profit organization that puts public service, pragmatic centrist principles and province-building at the top of its agenda.
These values are clearly aligned with those of the Alberta Party, but it is important to differentiate that we are separate legal entities. We have no formalized relationship, nor influence/control between each other’s organizations.
Our understanding is that Alberta Together will function similarly to a “centrist think-tank” that will work to develop policy and leadership skills for future centrist leaders.
We will continue to respect the rules and spirit of the law and are committed to continuing to conduct our business in a legal, transparent, and ethical manner. The Alberta Party remains focused on building our Party and broadening the conversation about centrist values.
We welcome anyone who advances this work.
