Alberta Party Releases Election Platform
March 22, 2012
EDMONTON— Today, the Alberta Party released its platform for the 2012 provincial election campaign, entitled We Can Dream Bigger. The platform was developed through the Alberta Party’s Big Listen process, which engaged over a thousand Albertans.
“It was clear from the Big Listen that although Albertans are grateful for what we have, they believe that our Province has not reached its potential. They told us to dream bigger,” said Glenn Taylor, Leader of the Alberta Party.
The platform is focused around five core ideas:
Albertans can be the healthiest people in Canada.
Albertans can be the best-educated people in the world.
Alberta can have the most open and transparent government.
Alberta can be the best place to earn a living.
- Alberta’s communities can be the best places to live and raise a family.
“This platform is really about making Alberta an even better place to live than it is already,” said Taylor. “We have the people, the resources and the talent to make Alberta the best place to live and raise a family. We just need the leadership to get there”.
The platform is available for download at www.albertaparty.ca/platform.
