Alberta Party Exceeds Internal Fundraising Goal by Over 300%, Party Raises over $68,000 in Third Quarter

Posted on October 08, 2014 by Katherine Taylor

Alberta Party leader Greg Clark announced that the Alberta Party raised $68,147 from July 1 to September 30, 2014 roughly 300% over the internal fundraising goal of $21,400.

“There is a new energy in Alberta,” said Clark, who is also the Alberta Party candidate in Calgary Elbow. “We have seen an enormous uptick in donations, volunteers, memberships and electoral opportunity. The third quarter of 2014 will be seen as the moment we became a vital political force in Alberta.”

“The funds raised in the third quarter have enabled us to hire a full time executive director and run four by-elections. We are confident Q4 will continue to grow on this success and have reset our expectations. “

The Alberta Party has also set new goals:

  •  Win in Calgary Elbow
  •  Raise over $100,000 in Q4
  •  Establish the party as Alberta’s new energy

“Alberta is a province that respects big goals. Albertans routinely achieve things others would view as impossible. The Alberta Party is a party with well considered policy positions that matter to Albertans. And that’s why we are succeeding.”
