At the annual general meeting (AGM) of the Alberta Party to be held on November 18, 2017 in Red Deer, 12 of the 24 elected members of the Provincial Board of Directors of the Alberta Party will be elected by the members in attendance.
The Nominations committee is currently seeking expressions of interest by individuals for nomination to the Provincial Board. To qualify for nomination for election to the Provincial Board, a nominee must be a current member in good standing of the Alberta Party and should have a personal alignment with the values and principles of the Alberta Party.
The Nomination Committee is seeking nominations for individuals with experience and qualifications with respect to one or more of the following areas:
- Political campaigns
- Law (Corporate, Elections, Election finance, contract, employment)
- Corporate Governance
- Organizational management
- Information technology
Candidates selected by the Nominations Committee for nomination will have their names and biographies posted on the Alberta Party website and included in handout materials provided to the voting members attending the AGM. Any other member may be nominated from the floor of the AGM, however will not have their information provided to the voting members.
